Moreton Bay and islands and the Straddie coast are included in severe weather warning for damaging winds and dangerous surf issued this morning.

These conditions are expected to ease during the evening. Locations which may be affected include Gold Coast, Maroochydore, Coolangatta, Moreton Bay islands, Noosa and Fraser Island.
Dangerous surf conditions are expected to develop about the southern coast and Islands south of Sandy Cape during today, easing a little late this evening.
