REDLANDS Parrots turned in a gutsy performance to down the Rochedale Tigers 34-16 last Saturday.
The Tigers held their past players reunion, which saw a good crowd on hand to witness a tough game with the lead changing several times.
Redlands arrived at Rochdale needing a win to get confidence back in their game.

Rochdale played the game up the middle with the bigger forward pack, while Redlands needed to shift the ball wide and tire the opposition.
With the commencement of the second half Rochdale put on two quick tries in five minutes to lead 16-4.
Redlands had to regroup and be positive when in possession and pick up the tempo of the game.
Hooker Mitch Askew created quick runs from dummy half, with Mitch Reading and Steve Harris putting Rochdale on the back foot.
Rochdale attempted to slow the play down by getting numbers in the tackles, while singling out Rhys Whitehurst for extra attention which created space.
Redlands made the most of the chances that saw tries by Nathan Tanner, Steve Harris and Rhys Whitehurst.
Coach Munro was happy with work of front rower Ryan Wakeling-Davidson who also scored.
The speed of Beau Wamsley, who scored a hat trick, was impressive.
Rhys Whitehurst was man of the match with a strong game that frustrated the opposition while creating space for his support players.
The Open 3s went down to St Brendon's 44-16.
Civic Park at Logan Central will host Redlands in both grades against Logan Brothers this weekend.
The games at Logan kick off at 1.30pm and the main game at 3pm.
