ARTIST Robin Matfin was the winner of the Judge's Choice for this year's Coochie Art Group's annual awards.
Robin won for her work Fijian Market, which also took first place in the oils/acrylic section.
The awards were announced at Friday night's official art show opening by Redland City Council art, culture and innovation spokesman Cr Paul Bishop.
More than 120 works were enterted in this year's awads, which were judged by Brisbane artist David Henderson.
The art show continues at the Redland Performing Arts Centre in Cleveland, until August 9. Opening hours are from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and 9.30am to 1pm on Saturday.
This year's sponsors include Carrols picture framing, Oxlades Redlands, Cleveland Office Supplies, Carolyn Santagiuliana, Lenore Thompson and State MP Peter Dowling. Alma Despot sponsored an Encouragement Award.
