The government has declared Thursday, August 7, a National Day of Mourning to honour victims of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17.
There were 298 innocent people on the plane when Russian separatists blew it up using a surface-to-air missile.
There were 38 men, women and children who called Australia home on board the flight which was heading to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam on July 17.
Our hearts go out to all the families.
