International women's cricket comes to the Redlands from Thursday when Australia and Pakistan play in a series of one-day matches.
Redlands Cricket will host the international series between the Australian and Pakistan women's teams at its Birkdale Road, Wellington Point grounds.
Hosting the games follows on from Redland Cricket's success in the hosting of the Under 19 World Cup and other international and state teams.
Redlands Cricket president Mark French said hosting the games was a wonderful achievement for Redlands Cricket.
"We are recognised as having such superb cricket facilities as well as backing with caterers who could provide ideal meals for visitors thanks to the great support from our volunteers," Mr French said.
The four one-day games are listed for Thursday, August 21, Saturday August 23, Tuesday August 26, and Thursday August 28, from 9.30am to 4pm.
Australia and Pakistan will field a host of their best players and the series should be a wonderful spectacle.
Spectators are most welcome so go along and sit in the grandstand and support women's cricket.
Entry is free and full canteen facilities will be available.
