A 12-year-old school boy suffered facial injuries after being hit by a car on the busy Finucane Road, outside the Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre on Wednesday morning.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene, near Alexandra Hills State High School, just after 8.19am.
The school boy was in a stable condition with injuries to his nose.
