Police from Capalaba’s Tactical Crime Squad have charged seven people following the closure of Operation Mike Pangolin which commenced in April of this year.
Police executed 22 search warrants on addresses throughout Brisbane and northern New South Wales during the operation allegedly locating methyl amphetamine, drug production equipment, firearms, stolen vehicles and assorted stolen property.
As a result of these raids, a 40-year-old Cleveland man and a 52-year-old Sheldon man, were charged with trafficking, and other serious drug and child exploitation offences.
A 37-year-old Cleveland man has also been charged with trafficking and numerous serious drug related charges.
All men are due to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court in the near future.
To date 27 people have been charged on a total of 315 related offences including seven for trafficking and 229 counts of supplying dangerous drugs.
Several vehicles including three sedans and two motor bikes were also seized during the operation which are being investigated for proceeds of crime.
