REDLANDS touch football players have helped lead six of South Queensland's touch football teams to victory in the junior state championships.
Twenty-four local players, six coaches and managers joined the regional team to win every game in the 12 to 16 age categories.
The Sharks won the 16 boys round over the Central Queensland Bulls, winning 7-5 in the grand final, while the 16 girls team won 6-5 against the North Queensland Cyclones.
Hayden Moffatt was named player of both the series and the final in the 16 boys category.
The Redlands players were chosen for the regional squad after the team came third in the state club championships at Hervey Bay in July.
