ELVIS will make an appearance when Macleay Island charity group Winging It holds a high tea and fashion parade to raise money for breast cancer research on October 11.
The group was set up in 2010 to help members of the Macleay Island Lions Club living with cancer to "wing it" day by day.
Members help out by cleaning, cooking, giving sufferers and their families emotional support and taking people to doctor's appointments.
Island model Iona Marcon will be one of 10 modelling clothes at this year's parade, which will be held at the Macleay Island Community Centre on High Central Road from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, October 11.
Iona took up the modelling challenge in memory of her friend Debi Dingwell who lost her battle with cancer late last year.
Iona worked to help the committee selling tickets and fund raise for the event.
The group joined forces with the Redland Breast Cancer Support Group and Relay for Life.
The group meets twice a month and its top priority is confidential support.
Cancer sufferers and carers can join on 0417 504 450.
