Redlands Tigers recorded five wins from the eight grade games played in the Brisbane Premier Grade competition last weekend.
It was a pleasing result from a club point of view as the Redlands boys have been putting in the hard yards at training in the club's new net complex and then putting that into practice out on the field.
Players of the week were in 2nd grade Liam Hope-Shackley, who took 4/61 and Charles Mailli 3/37. Scott McAuliffe scored 64 in 3rd grade and in 4th grade Anthony Mailli took 3/9 and Wayne Todman took four wickets for the match.
In 5th gradeBailey Bennett took 3/47 and Robert Ballarino took six wickets for the match. Tigers legend Matt Williamson took two outstanding catches in 6th grade (1), and in 6th grade (2) Lance Parsons scored 93 and Matthew Bloye 50 as well as taking 2/10. In Taverners, Bailey Lavender scored 45 and Zach Addison took seven wickets for the match.
Next weekend 1st, 3rd and 5th grades play at home at the club's grounds at Birkdale Road, Wellington Point. Spectators are welcome and full canteen facilities are available.
