The Redlands Swim Club had 16 swimmers competing at the Queensland Short Course Championships held at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre.
This was the final major event for the winter swimming season, with 1300 swimmers coming from across the state to compete.
The Redlands swimmers again performed extremely well, swimming 44 personal best times in the 63 events in which they competed. Redlands swimmers were placed in the top 10 in 27 of their events with two Redlands swimmers winning four medals.
Emily Cobb, 10, won gold in the 50m freestyle (31.26) and Samuel Speedie, 12, won silver in the 100m freestyle (59.61), bronze in the 50m freestyle (26.99) and bronze in the 100m individual medley (1:10.23).
The coaches and swimmers now switch their focus to long course and open water championships.
