In reply to your request on how funding could be spent to improve traffic black spots in Redland City consider the following: Lower the speed limit from just before the Delancey Street - Shore Street West lights into Cleveland from 70km to 60km per hour.
Install lights or a roundabout at the intersection of Gordon Street and Shore Street West. This intersection would have to be one of the hardest in the Redlands to negotiate.
Vehicles entering, and especially exiting premises between Delancey Street and The Fruit Barn, heading towards Cleveland are often involved in near misses. Quite a few serious accidents have occurred.
Better signage is needed when travelling along Panorama Drive from Mt Cotton to Cleveland, where Panorama Drive veers hard right and becomes Wellington Street. It is very confusing as it is now.
Finally, it would be great if the 20m approach and 10m exit zones at bus stops could all be marked in yellow and appropriate authorities enforced applicable laws.
