South Brisbane station will be closed and Cleveland trains will be diverted through Tennyson during the G20 summit next month.
Translink has released a list of affected bus and train services from November 10 to 17, as world leaders flock to the city for the summit.
South Brisbane station will be closed for the whole week, with trains to and from Cleveland running express between South Bank and Roma Street from November 10 to 13.
During the long weekend, from November 13 to 16 all Cleveland trains will run as normal to Buranda, before heading south along the Beenleigh line, stopping at Dutton Park, Fairfield, Yeronga and Yeerongpilly.
The trains will then pass through the Tennyson loop and use the Ipswich line to the city, servicing Roma Street and Central stations and continuing to Shorncliffe.
Buses passing through South Bank are expected to run as normal until Thursday evening, when CBD bus stops and busway stations between Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Woolloongabba will close.
Bus services between Redlands and the city, as well as connections at Carindale, will stop at hubs in Boggo Road, Woolloongabba and Fortitude Valley.
Regular shuttles will operate between these hubs and the city.
Translink expects the public transport to be operational by Monday, November 17, but warned commuters to expect delays during the morning as the system returns to normal.
More than 7000 delegates and visiting media will receive special go cards for free travel across the network during the summit.
