Tiama Ogburn, of Capalaba, is a headline artist at this year's Grass Roots Music Festival, being staged at the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens this Sunday, November 2, from 11am to 5pm.
Tiama is known for her soul and blues feel and performs from 4.15pm.
The festival is a free event and a celebration of spring through the sounds of country, blues, roots, folk and acoustic music.
Hosted by 8 Ball Aitken, the festival, now in its 10th year, presents a fresh collection of talent for the pleasure of picnic-packing music fans.
This year, Brisbane River bluesman Coojee Timms (11am) kicks off the show with other featured artists including 2014 Toyota Starmaker winner, Jared Porter (11.45am), Cleveland Blues (12.30pm), Harmony James (2.45pm), Red Crow (3.30pm) and Megan Cooper (1.15pm).
Fresh from his most recent Nashville tour, 8 Ball Aitken will be performing crowd favourites as well as introducing songs from his new album 'The New Normal' from 2pm.
