Alex Hills fatal crash case continues
The man charged with manslaughter over a fatal car crash in Alexandra Hills earlier this year will face court again on November 27.
Troy Anthony Weston, 40, had his matter adjourned during a brief mention in Cleveland Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Charged with manslaughter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and failing to stop for police, the Cleveland man is alleged to have driven through a red light in a stolen vehicle and smashed into another car at the intersection of Finucane and Allenby roads on August 21.
The driver of the other vehicle, 65-year-old Redland Bay woman Rhonda Lofting, died at the scene.
Weston was remanded in custody and will next face the court on November 27.
