PEOPLE have until Friday to lodge submissions with Redland City Council about the Shoreline housing estate proposed for Redland Bay.
At the time of going to press, there were 36 submissions made to council about Fox and Bell's 4000-dwelling proposal.
However, that figure was expected to rapidly rise after the developer started lobbying for support sending emails to Redland businesses urging them to "assist our application to council by making a public submission".
Redland Bay resident Colin Penrose said the developer had also knocked on doors asking people to sign letters of support to council.
On the other side of the fence, lobby group Redlands 2030 was urging residents to make submissions against the project's small lots.
Of the 4000 dwellings, 121 lots are for homes smaller than 350sqm and most of the detached houses are on lots smaller than 450sqm.
The submission deadline is four days after council endorsed its draft City Plan, which will now be sent to the Queensland Government for review, before being opened for public comment.
