THERE appears to be no forward planning by the Redland City Council to cope with the volume of traffic that is about to happen with four large new home developments under way.
Already traffic along Old Cleveland Road through Capalaba in the morning and afternoon is a disgrace and reverts to a carpark at those times.
The road from Cleveland to Victoria Point Cleveland Redland Bay Road has three new developments under way with no extra road infrastructure in sight.
It would appear that within six months we will have over an extra 2000 cars on the roads which will not be able to cope.
Traffic through Victoria Point Shopping Centre area is already badly congested and will get a lot worse if no road infrastructure is put in place immediately.
