Christmas day should have enough sunshine for new bikes to get a workout.
Christmas morning should be mostly sunny across Brisbane, according to the Austrlian Bureau of Meteorology.
But showers are likely to develop in the afternoon and the Bureau says thee is a 40 per cent chance of rain on December 25.
Winds should be light in the morning but could pick up to around 25kmh in the afternoon before easing up in the evening.
