Strangely, I am not feeling the relief and gratitude I should be feeling in knowing that Redland City Council has spent millions of dollars on trying to save our koalas.
How much, I wonder, has been spent on annihilating them?
Most people know the solution to saving our koalas, even without the benefit of science.
Do not destroy koalas' habitat. Do not destroy koala corridors. Do not expect koalas to starve while seedlings grow into trees.
Willing ratepayers should be encouraged to donate to a fund for the preservation of koalas.
