The Bayside Outrigger Canoe Club had 19 junior paddlers and 30 senior paddlers competing against 34 other clubs, including Papua New Guinea, in the National Sprint Outrigger Titles held at Lake Kawana from January 30 - February 1.
The team performed exceptionally against the other teams, making 42 finals.
The club returned with 22 medals, including seven gold, four silver and 11 bronze.
The Bayside Juniors were again the stars of the club, finishing second in the junior club points with 118, only four behind the winner Mooloolaba OCC.
Bayside Under 14 girls took out the trifecta, winning gold, Silver and bronze place for both OC1 and V1 events, and gold and bronze for the mixed OC2s.
The boys (and men) were not left out, with the Under 12 boys winning gold and bronze in the V1 races, Under 12 mixed winning silver, Under 14s with gold in the OC6 and the Under 16 boys taking bronze in the V1 and OC1 races.
The novice men and masters mixed teams both won bronze in the OC6.
