North Stradbroke Island artist Craig Tapp gifted one of his works to the school, which accompanies a sign reading "Welcome to Quandamooka Country".
The mural was dedicated at a ceremony on Thursday, shortly before the school's 2015 leaders were inducted.
Among those in attendance were QYAC chief executive Cameron Costello, Aboriginal elders Aunty Judy Watego and Aunty Iris Paulson.
