Raby Bay, Cleveland was glistening in the sun as 582 people from all over the world competed in the Raby Bay Triathlon and 251 in the Enticer Races on Sunday.
Commonwealth Games athlete Ashleigh Gentle, 24, won the elite female open section of the Gatorade Triathlon and Frenchman Pierre Le Corre won the men's title and was overall winner.
Le Corre, from Montpelier in France, won in 39min 12sec ahead of Wellington Point's Nick Miller, who put in a fantastic effort to take out second place overall with a time of 39min 14sec.
Israeli runner Ron Darmon came in third with a time of 40min 8sec.
From the Redlands, Capalaba's Joanne Miller was third in the women's open section with a time of 46min 57 sec.
In other categories, Victoria Point's Luke Harvey won the 13-15 category with a time of 42min 28sec, Mount Cotton's Katinka Von Elsner-Ellsteed was the first woman to finish in the 16-19 category with a time of 47min 11sec and Linda Meredith, of Thornlands, won the women's 55-59 category in a time of 56min 46sec.
Wellington Point's Kelly Penfold was second across the line in 50min 33sec in the 20-24 category and Capalaba's Chris Bagley came fourth in that category.
Congratulations also go to Tony Cameron-Kirk, who finished first in the 75 years and older category with a time of 1h 36min 45sec.
In the Enticer race, Connor Duffy, from Victoria Point, was third in 22min 18sec, just behind overall winner Harry Chapman, of Samford, who won in 21min 44sec.
Redland Bay businessman Peter Hull came second in the 25-29 age section with a time of 26min 38sec followed closely by Cleveland's Joshua Kelly in 31min 29sec.
It was the first triathlon for Cleveland's Kayla Woods, who finished the 20-24-year-old section of the Enticer race in 34min 32sec.
Mount Cotton's Peter Elliott was second in the 30-34 year category Enticer with a time of 28min 59sec, missing first spot by just 16sec.
