I refer to the Mount Cotton power plant (Biomass) and your article "Time is running out".
One really wonders if both the Redland City Council and the Cleveland power have any idea of how much public and private money has been spent on this project.
Maybe some "public spirited" councillor will ask the questions and let us, the public, know.
It would also be of interest to the public to know if and when Cleveland Power makes yet another request for extension to the court.
It is to be hoped the council this time will properly oppose the application.
That would mean that the residents in Mount Cotton and Redlands, after some 12 years, could get on with their lives and not have the "spectre" of this "ill con-conceived, badly designed and polluting plant" hanging over their heads.
