It is with great sadness that Redlands Cricket reports the passing of Redlands legend Paul Hutchison aged 47.
Paul passed away peacefully last Friday morning surrounded by close family after a battle with cancer.
Hutchy played for Redlands in the early stages of his career before finding higher honours in representative and first class cricket for Tasmania and South Australia.
In 1998 he returned to the Redlands and was selected in the Queensland 2nd XI. He was a member of the 1998/99 Easts/Redlands first grade one day premiership team, and the 2001/02 Redlands Tigers second grade premiership team.
He continued to give back through local clubs like Bayside Muddies after his career at the elite level came to a close.
He left a mark wherever he played, either on the field, in the dressing rooms or coaching the youngsters, and he will be missed.
