A man who allegedly crashed his car into a stationary police speed camera car in Queensland's north on Saturday has been charged with dangerous driving.
Police will allege an officer was monitoring traffic speeds in Townsville on Saturday night, when a 52-year-old man drove his car into his patrol car.
He then fled the scene.
The crash caused minor damage to the police car. The officer was uninjured.
The man, from the Townsville suburb of Hermit Park, was charged with dangerous driving, unlicensed driving and failing to comply with duties of a driver involved in a crash.
He is scheduled to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on March 10.
