A 51-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 42-year-old man at Highgate Hill early this morning.
Police were called to a unit complex on Gladstone Road around 12:30am where they located the man's body inside the home.
The man, also from from Highgate Hill, is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrate Court on Saturday.

A 51-year-old man is in police custody following the suspected stabbing murder of a man in a unit in Brisbane's inner south.
Police are yet to confirm reports he is the flatmate of the 42-year-old victim.
Emergency services were called to the Highgate Hill unit about 12.30am on Friday.
Paramedics attended the scene but found the man dead on arrival.
He suffered fatal stab wounds and burns.
The initial call to Triple-0 reported the man had been assaulted following a break-in by two men.
The police dog squad was called to search the area but detectives later arrested a man reported to be the victim's flatmate.
He is being questioned by detectives.
A crime scene has been established and a police cordon remains in place at the Gladstone Road unit complex.
Homicide investigators, forensic police and detectives from the Dutton Park Criminal Investigation branch are on scene.
Neighbours reported hearing regular arguing coming from within the unit where the man's body was found.
