A 17-year-old boy is in hospital with burns to his face and another has burns to his hands after the duo set nail polish on fire at a school north of Brisbane.
A Department of Education and Training spokesman said the boys were hurt when they "ignited some nail polish" in the playground.
He said the fire happened about 11.30am, about five minutes into a lunch break.
Paramedics took the 17-year-old boy with burns to his face to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition.
Another boy, believed to be 16, was taken to the Kallangur Medical Centre with minor burns to his hands.
