Hawthorn forward Jarryd Roughead has called into question an incident during the Hawks' game against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday in which small forward Paul Puopolo was knocked into by an umpire.
The collision occurred as the Hawks made their way onto the ground, with Roughead behind a blindsided Puopolo as he was collected by the umpire as the team made its way onto Aurora Stadium ahead of the match.
While Puopolo only suffered a corked leg,and played on until being subbed out late in the game, Roughead suggested it was something that should be looked at.
"I didn't think it was great. I don't think the umpires should be running behind a banner," he said.
