A Thornlands man faces 10 drug and weapons charges after a Taskforce Maxima raid on Tuesday.
Detectives allegedly unearthed five guns, a taser and 14 cannabis plants while executing a search warrant at a Carlingford Drive house.
Among the weapons were two shotguns, a Mauser rifle, a Winchester lever action rifle and a sawn off .22 rifle fitted with a laser sight.
Police also allegedly found ammunition and drug paraphenalia during the operation.
A 42-year-old Thornlands man has been charged with producing a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug, unlawful possession of explosives (ammunition), possession of a taser, possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.
He is due to face Cleveland Magistrates Court on May 27.
A 23-year-old man, also of Thornlands, was offered drug diversion for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The raid happened as a result of investigations into the alleged supply of illegal drugs by members of the Rebels outlaw bikie club.
Taskforce Maxima Detective Inspector Brendan Smith said the raid helped make the community safer.
“Shortened firearms are clearly manufactured for illicit purposes: this, and the quantity of illegal drugs located, demonstrates the criminality of these crime gangs," he said.
“Our enforcement efforts will continue and we be unrelenting in our efforts to make communities safer and crime free.”
