A Voices of Birralee chorister for three years, Natasha Calderbank, of Alexandra Hills, will help honour Australia's servicemen and women when she performs with the Brisbane-based community choir at the Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Australian National Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux and later at the Australian service at the Digger Memorial, Bullecourt.
Natasha said she felt privileged to have been selected by the choir to join them in this Centenary of Anzac year.
"The Dawn Service will be really cold, but it will be really amazing to be there representing our country and the Redlands and to be remembering all those people who served and those who never returned," she said.
Natasha, who has received some financial assistance from Redlands RSL to help with her travel expenses, will tour with the choir for ten days.
Redlands RSL president Alan Harcourt said the sub-branch was pleased to assist Natasha with her trip to France.
"It's great to have someone from the local area chosen for such a trip and performances," he said.
"To have her there representing the Redlands will be a wonderful thing."
