Redlanders lined Shore Street West on Saturday morning for the Cleveland Anzac Day parade.
Held on the centenary of the Gallipoli landing, the marchers ranged from serving and retired service personnel, through to cadets, school students and Scouts.
The parade changed course this year, running along Shore Street West to the new Centenary Memorial, rather than along Middle Street to the cenotaph.
A fighter jet from Amberley base flew directly over the parade route shortly before it began, bringing cheers from the crowd.
It followed a record turnout at the dawn service, where an estimated 18,000 people turned out to pay their respects.
