World War II Diggers, Redland politicians, parents, teachers and students paid their respects to the Gallipoli Diggers at a two-hour service at Redland Bay State School last week.
Ex-Commando in Timor Rob Palmer, who is also the school's groundsman, explained how he received his war medals.
