REDLAND City Council has published the nine names of development industry executives on its controversial Development Industry Reference Group.
On the group are Fox and Bell's Garry Hargrave, who is also Redland Chamber of Commerce president; Fiteni Homes chief Adam Soutar; Ausbuild chief Michael Loney; Cardno's Michael Anderson; JFP Urban Consultants Shane Talty and John Pappas; Redland Constructions Peter Endacott; Sheehy and Partners Phil Cockerill; and Peter Johnson from Villa World.
The names were kept secret after the group set up its own Terms of Reference which stipulated anonymity.
However, council published the names on its website last week after a community backlash and calls for transparency.
Under the group's terms of reference, the council and the allocated four officers to the group, will provide business support services including preparing agendas, minutes and reports.
According to the terms of reference, the aim of the group is to be committed to promoting a partnership-approach to development, aimed at improving outcomes for all parties involved.
The terms of reference also leave the onus of declaring a conflict of interest with the nine members.
