A TRADITIONAL Polynesian outrigger canoe will dock in Raby Bay this week in a bid to spread the message about the importance of a sustainable environment.
The crew of the Hokule'a left New Zealand at the beginning of May for the four-year journey around the Pacific.
During their visit, they plan to visit schools and give presentations on traditional Polynesian navigation techniques used during the voyage to 26 nations.
The Hokule'a will dock at Raby Bay at 10 am on Friday.
