A southwest Brisbane industrial park has reopened after a runaway truck crashed through a building wall.
Heavy lifting equipment was called in to undertake a protracted removal effort at park in Seventeen Mile Rocks, about 16 kilometres southwest of Brisbane city centre.
It reopened just after 2pm, about four hours after the crash.
The unoccupied B-double had been parked at a business in Bluestone Crescent when it rolled across the road, over an embankment and crashed through a warehouse wall about 10am.
It was carrying an estimated 30 tonnes of tiles.
The driver had reportedly left his vehicle momentarily to fill out some paperwork when the crash occurred.
Firefighters locked the scene down and evacuated the building when it began leaking fuel.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said about 10 litres of diesel fuel leaked and both the Brisbane City Council and the Environment Protection Authority had been notified of the spill.
No one was injured in the crash, however, the effort to extricate the truck from the wall was a lengthy one.
A crane was called to haul it out and the scene was declared safe before 2.30pm.
Engineers will now assess the building to determine if it remains structurally sound.
Queensland Police Service closed the road leading to the industrial park, Bellwood Street, between Monier Road and Glen Ross Road as the extraction effort continued.
The road reopened just after 2pm.
