The NRL integrity unit's investigation of the Sydney Roosters' Australia Day drama has found Dale Copley and Jayden Nikorima have no case to answer despite being with Mitchell Pearce on that night.
While Pearce's future remains up in the air, the integrity unit closed its investigation into the two Roosters recruits who were with the halfback in the apartment on the now infamous night.
The unit looked into Nikorima and Copley's presence on the night, however there was no evidence to suggest the pair brought the game into disrepute.
The decision will allow the Roosters to take their new recruits to England for the World Club Series, with Nikorima now likely to fill the halves position vacated by Pearce's departure for an overseas rehabilitation clinic.
Nikorima and Copley joined the tri-colours from the Broncos in the pre-season and are expected to be in the Roosters' starting side for round one.
A regretful Pearce last week departed the country bound for Thailand with his mother Terri, not expected back for a month.
It is understood the NRL and Sydney Roosters are in no rush to hand down a sanction for the NSW halfback after a lewd video involving a dog was sold to several media organisations.
Roosters supremo Nick Politis is overseas, while Trent Robinson's men head out on Tuesday morning for a training camp in the United Arab Emirates before taking on St Helens in the World Club Series on February 20.
Pearce's welfare is the club's priority and the Roosters are likely to delay handing down a punishment until they return from Britain.
