REDLANDS and Southern Districts Equestrian Group (RASDEQ) is holding its annual fundraising event in Thornlands on May 15.
It is the group’s first event in Thornlands after its return to the Redlands.
The Camp Quality rainbow charity day will be held on May 15 at Pinklands Reserve, Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, Thornlands.
Camp Quality provides services for children living with cancer and their families.
Riders need to register by 5pm on Thursday, May 4 via www.nominate.com.au
Events include a pas de deux performance for two horses, together with preliminary and novice dressage events.
Riders are encouraged to dress up themselves and their horses in bright colours.
RASDEQ hopes to raise $3000 for Camp Quality from entry fees and raffles.
The equestrian group was previously based at Birkdale and Cleveland before moving to Tingalpa.
They have recently formed a partnership with the Redlands Pony Club to run events at Pinklands.
RASDEQ caters mostly for grassroots riders and has about 120 members.
It runs clinics and competitions, primarily in dressage.
Non-members can also ride in the May 15 event.
