MT COTTON State School principal Meagan Steward has bravely volunteered to get into the dunk tank at the school fete on Saturday, May 14.
Following Ms Steward into the cold water will be teachers and Redland City councillor Julie Talty.
Entertainment at the fete will include a canine Australian frisbee champion, Dexter, who is expected to amaze the audience with his frisbee-catching skills and abilities.
Dexter is best known for his performances in television advertisements.
Author and foodie expert Tania Hubbard will present workshops on how to prepare easy and nutritious lunch boxes for kids.
The school band and choir will perform, together with local sport and dance groups.
Other activities at the school fete will include carnival activities, sideshow alley, market staffs and raffles.
There will also be a bar and food available for sale.
A bus from Mt Cotton Shopping Centre on Valley Way will ferry fete-goers to the school in return for a gold coin donation.
Funds raised at the fete will go towards upgrading audio-visual equipment and purchasing new technology for the school.
The fete will be held at the school on the corner of Mt Cotton Road and Sanctuary Drive from 10am to 3pm on May 14.
