TWO men have been arrested following an alleged attempted armed robbery at an Alexandra Hills service station on Saturday.
An 18-year-old from Hemmant and a 19-year-old fro Wynnum West are due to appear in Wynnum Magistrates Court on Thursday (May 26).
Police will allege the two men entered the Cambridge Drive business around 9.30pm.
One man allegedly produced a tomahawk before demanding tobacco.
The attendant refused and the two men fled the scene.
The 18-year-old has been charged with one count each of attempted armed robbery, enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, possessing dangerous drugs and failing to properly dispose of a needle or syringe.
The 19-year-old man has been charged with attempted armed robbery and enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.
