A REDLAND Bay teenager has fronted court in connection with the stabbing of a Wellington Point man in September last year.
Nineteen-year-old Jeremy Woods has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm or transmit serious disease, unlawful wounding and trespass.
He did not apply for bail and has been remanded in custody to appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court on August 25.
Police will allege a 63-year-old man disturbed someone attempting to break into his house on Starkey Street at 5am on September 18.
They will also allege the victim suffered several stab wounds and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
