FOURTEEN teams from Redlands Touch Association have competed in the three-day Queensland Junior State Cup in Hervey Bay.
The Redlands 18 girls team made it through to the grand final with spectators packing the sidelines to watch the exhilarating end-to-end contest.
Up against Gold Coast, scores were drawn at full-time, going into a thrilling drop off.
Both teams scored in their first set of six, getting down to 3 on 3, before Gold Coast scored the winning touchdown.
Another eight teams made it through to the finals in their divisions.
A total of 213 teams travelled from all over Queensland the top end of New South Wales to compete in the cup from Thursday, July 7 until Saturday, July 10.
The boys and girls teams from Redlands competed across all divisions.
Redlands referees Shane Arnold and Laura Nutley were also awarded their badge level upgrades at the event.

Sign-on night for Redlands Touch Football Association is on Friday, July 15 from 4.30pm to 7pm at the Touch Football Clubhouse, Cleveland Showgrounds in Long Street, Cleveland.
Competition starts on Friday, July 29.
