North Melbourne's Ryan Clarke is the round 18 NAB AFL Rising Star nominee.
The 19-year old-midfielder was playing in just his third match on Friday night in the 40-point win over Collingwood at Etihad Stadium and gathered 27 touches four marks and two tackles.
He made his debut in round 16 against West Coast in Perth as a last-minute replacement for veteran Nick Dal Santo who withdrew due to illness.
He has averaged 23 possessions in his three games.
North coach Brad Scott said Clarke's elite running ability has been an asset for his side. "Clarkey has been an outstanding contributor and has certainly made an impact in his three games to date," Scott said.
"After being a standout for the first half of the season playing with Werribee in the VFL, he's been an important part of our team set-up since joining the senior side in round 16.
"He's a true professional and it's been exciting to see his development at the club since he was drafted in November last year. He has a really bright future ahead of him here at North Melbourne."
Clarke was recruited from the Rowville Football Club and the Eastern Ranges.
He was North Melbourne's second selection (No.31 overall) in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft.
Prior to his senior call-up he has been consistent with North Melbourne' VFL affiliate Werribee this season.
A prolific ball-winner, Clarke averaged 19 disposals in five games for Vic Metro at the 2015 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.
He also enjoyed an outstanding 2015 season with the Eastern Ranges averaging 31 possessions and kicking 16 goals. He played a key role in the Ranges' TAC Cup grand final match.
