SENIORS and kids can explore science activities together at the Redland Museum on Monday, August 8.
The museum is holding the special science event on the Redland show holiday to celebrate National Science Week and National Seniors’ Week.
Seniors can bring their grandchildren to explore the museum and participate in hands-on science activities together.
There will be construction activities, the opportunity to build a kite from scratch and other demonstrations.
Activities will run from 10am to 3.30pm and anyone attending can stay for the day or just pop in for a couple of hours.
There is space in the gardens to enjoy a picnic lunch if you plan an extended visit.
Special admission for the day includes museum entry.
Entry is $7 for adults, $6 for concession and $3 for school-aged children.
All materials, as well as tea and coffee is provided.
