GYMNASTS from the Redlands were among the 300 who competed at the Brisbane South Junior Women’s Regional gymnastics competition on the weekend.
In level 5 under 11 years, Kayla Geros, of Victoria Point YMCA gymnastics, placed fifth in bars, fourth in beam, sixth in floor and fourth overall, while Emily Angus came first in beam.
Victoria Point YMCA competitors Jaime Rule came fourth in beam, third in floor and third overall and Stephanie Young fourth on bars, second on beam and fifth overall in the level 5 over category.
Makayla Crawford came sixth in both vault and floor.
In the level 4 under 10 section, Haylee Armstrong came sixth in vault, second on beam and fifth overall and Charlie Banks placed sixth in floor.
Kai Hoare placed sixth in both vault and floor in the level 4 over category.
Gymnasts from Redland City Gymsports in Cleveland also competed in the event.
