Classic Morris Minor cars will be all the go at Ormiston State School in October.
The small, oh-so-British cars were built after WWII and became the first UK model to sell more than 1 million units.
Brisbane Southside Morris Minor Car Club spokesman Carle Gregory said the club’s 23rd annual display day would be at Ormiston on October 16.
“All Morris Minor owners are invited to bring their vehicles along, irrespective of what condition they are in,’’ he said.
“The invitation is also extended to owners of all other makes of BMC (British Motor Corporation) vehicles while owners of other classics are encouraged to take part.
“Entry to the event is free and the public is invited to visit during the day and see some great classic and vintage vehicles."
Morris Minor’s started out as a two-door saloon and convertible tourer and then a four-door saloon was built in the 1950s. A panel van and pick-up variants followed.
Mr Gregory said the Morris Minor car club was Redlands based and about 60 cars were expected at the show.
