What is your strongest memory of your childhood home?

I grew up in Wagga Wagga, on what was then the outskirts of the town. I can vaguely remember the house, which was a pretty basic fibro affair; but what I most remember was at the back of the house. Beyond the back fence was what must have been hundreds of acres of disused wheat fields. Although we had bikes and could go roaming as far as we dared, I never, ever got to the boundary of it, it was so vast. There was a dam for yabby fishing, forests, all sorts of places to explore. The perfect place for a boy to grow up.
