SHELDON College has recently won the aggregate and percentage shields at both the Bayside District Primary and Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships.
Athletes in the 13 to 19 years carnival at QSAC upped their game from second place last year to win the recent competition.
There was a three-way race between Sheldon College, Cleveland District State High and Wellington Point State High for the title for a large part of event.
By the time the relays started at the end of the second day, it was down to Sheldon College and Cleveland High, but Sheldon won at the end of the day by just 22 points.
Students in the 10 to 12 year age brackets won both shields when they competed at Cleveland a week later.
Between the two carnivals, 57 Sheldon College students were selected for the Bayside District team to compete in the Metropolitan East Championships.
