King of Twitter: Jarryd Hayne let rip at the refereeing at the weekend.

Jarryd Hayne was named Twitter's No.1 rugby league player before kick-off in the second preliminary final – and promptly set about his "title" defence with a one-two punch on the social network. One, he had a go at the officiating, tweeting: "When will these refs starting getting it right(?) It's legal to float forward after its (sic) gone backwards. Hello!!! Learn the rules dumb dumb". Then, when a follower called Billy Robertson suggested he was still angry at Parramatta losing the 2009 grand final to a Storm side subsequently found to be over the salary cap, The Plane replied: "Na Bruv. No1 could beat us on an even playing field in '09". Parramatta players have mostly been notable by their reluctance to blame the cap breaches for their 23-16 loss.
