Redlands BMX Club members brought home a swag of winning plates from competition at the BMX Queensland State Titles, held at the Chandler Sleemans BMX Track from the September 19 to 25.
A total of 49 riders, aged five to 45, competed in 59 events aged from 5 to 45 for both State pre title events.
Redlands BMX Secretary Suzanne Woods said club members were proud of the effort that all club members put in and acknowledged the hard work in preparing for the event.
“Many riders have trained long hours both on and off the track to push their fitness levels to the best that they can be. Some of our club riders have come away achieving their goals for State Plates and trophies,” she said.
Current USA gold medalist Connor Fields and Bodi Turner were around the track signing auto graphs and having photos taken.
“We would like to thank all the volunteers and officials that volunteered their time to help make this event such a success,” Ms Woods said.
