CLEVELAND teenager Harley Brown represented Australia at the Futsal World Cup in Scotland recently.
The year 10 student from Cleveland District State High School played in each of the four matches in the competition.
The team was crowned undefeated champions during the four-day event held in Dundee.
Fifteen-year-old Brown has also been selected to play in the Australian team in Italy next year.
Having played futsal for about four years, Brown is a member of the Mount Gravatt Mountains Futsal Club.
In 2014 he played for Australia in his first overseas sports event in Barcelona.
His dream is to play professionally overseas.
Brown also plays outdoor for local club Redlands United.
Although chosen to represent the Australian team annually for four years, the teenager has not been able to go every year due to financial constraints.
His family are training funds and trying to obtain sponsorship to help finance the overseas tours.
